Noble has been on campus since last year, one of several small groups of students that were allowed in classrooms to do their schoolwork on their computers. Tuesday was the next step in reopening schools, in that students could learn in class with their teachers and change classes from period to period.
Students and parents had been urging the district since last year to get students back for in-person instruction. Ultimately some parents in North County filed a lawsuit against the state, and Monday afternoon, a judge ruled that schools that had not been able to reopen while the county was in the purple tier could reopen, without regard to when the county would move to the updated red tier.
We will continue to follow the guidance of local health officials and our medical advisers, but based on what has been announced for other local attractions such as the San Diego Padres and SeaWorld, we are optimistic we will have fans in the stands this summer at some level, said Del Mar President and Chief Operating Officer Josh Rubinstein. We have the advantages of a 350-acre site and a facility that can host people quite comfortably with appropriate social distancing as needed.
The season will begin with a Friday-Saturday-Sunday schedule for the first two weeks, then move to a Thursday-through-Sunday schedule until its Labor Day

Good Wednesday morning. At the time of writing this (2:30am) conditions for us here in Texoma are quiet. Most of the severe weather is confined north of I-40. We are watching a cluster of storms just south of Young, Throckmorton and Jack (TX) counties. A severe thunderstorm watch is still in place for Greer, Harmon, Jackson and Kiowa counties for the next 30 minutes. Meanwhile down in north Texas, a severe thunderstorm watch goes until 5AM for Montague, Young, Jack, Throckmorton and Haskell counties.

The newest coronavirus relief bill includes a provision that exempts the first $10,200 of unemployment benefits from taxes. California does not require people to pay taxes on their unemployment benefits, but the IRS does. Because tax season started in February, many people have already filed their taxes. The IRS has not spoken on how they want us to remove the $10,000 from the returns, Askia-Reese said. We re waiting until they pass down the new language and then our software developers will put that in, and we ll make the adjustment. We ll have a lot of amendments this year.
